Resonance and dissonance are relative and depends on the reference frequency or key.
So, the key for metaphysical, or maybe thought, resonance is truth? Logically.
Or, is it constructive knowledge can be built on truth and true assumptions? Seems to be both.
Resonance tends to linger longer than dissonance?
Strange society, if one thinks about it. Full of contradictions. Some people kill each other for fun in online games. Should be more advanced than that.
Wonder if mass shooters played FPS games.
Heroic rescuers, kidney donors, and other highly empathetic people have larger amygdalas than normal, per CNN report on heroes. The amygdala is related to generating the experience of fear and empathizing with other people's fear, the report said.
Fear is a mostly physically-based emotion? Can cause dissonance?
Lived in Manoa Valley, for a time. Language can be confusing. Interchangeably use so many words...
Could too many people be too dependent on their society and status quo?
If you are not a part of society, apparently there is something wrong according to society. Anti-social is a dirty word. But everyone is anti-present society, right?
Most people don't agree with many aspects of society but due to education and peers...are caught in loop, it seems?
Avoiding social contact as much as possible works wonders but is hard to do, at first? Love, friendships, excitement, etc., are like addictions and hard to stop, even for a while? But one needs to take a break for proper perspective.
They say friendships are good for health and longevity. True in many cases, but depends on friend and person.
Being mostly alone is hard to do but recommended to older people for a change. Seems to free time to get acquainted with the 'void'.
Younger people might need friends and a sense of belonging. Older people have already had the experience and need to try something else or new?
Talk about metaphysics and crowds will become sleepy and thoughts clouded. Discourse on metaphysics in the future could seem like speaking in tongues.
Are many too dependent on talking to pass time? Is talking too much an addiction? For some? For one? Used to be. For all? At times?
Also, does too much speaking lead to cognitive dissonance? Sometimes, the mouth seems to run off with the thoughts. The conscious loses control of thoughts and something false is spoken.
Definitely messes up thinking. If sufficient time is taken to recognize and realize the falseness of the thought, then the dissonance is resolved? If not, problem gets compounded and seemingly infinitely complex?
Were humans meant to evolve from being centered on survival to being centered on exploring the universe? Or is something driving humans to do so? Or were our brain genetics or epigenetics changed by radiation, chemicals, peyote, or something? Could be all of the above.
Society and media places a lot of importance on friendship and getting together to have fun.
Since I can remember, media has touted 3 meals a day, family and friends are good for health and longevity, and other themes. Why not bombard people with stories about eating 3 meals a day is too many calories and unhealthy? Or negative friends and family can ruin health?
Shouldn't scientific studies have moved on from family and friends are good for health to more detailed studies? Same thing for over 50 years. People are like sheep, but come on.
All these chemicals affect the brain and consciousness, but have not yet been proven to be the cause of consciousness?
Could consciousness be like a software program for an organism's identity? The current status of the being. Evolved to survive, but with too much leisure time....?
Time will tell. Chimps in zoos have time, so do pet dogs, but...
Information on brain functions appears to be growing exponentially. Very little was known until recently.
THC consumption appears to lower background noise in the mind, so thoughts can vibrate with less interference? (Personal supposition)
But what background noise? Dissonance. Oh, I see now. Thanks.
Hear and 'feel' music more clearly? Taste more clearly? Think more clearly, for those who are able to think without dissonance?
With legalization, another age of metaphysics, or philosophy, will come sightly sooner?
I used to think my thoughts led me here, but long ago, I came to the thought that 'something' led me here. Why would anyone think these thoughts, and for so long?
Knowledge in books and stored form is just symbols until it is processed and retained by a 'brain' or 'consciousness'.
Information has a metaphysical dimension and this dimension can be accessed by thought?
Or is it that information exists in a metaphysical dimension and this dimension can be accessed by thought? Or both? hehe.
So, when books are destroyed, only the physical dimension is destroyed. The metaphysical dimension (metaphysical concept, aspect) remains. So, just the physical information, not knowledge is lost, when a book is destroyed.
Good imagination? Or do thoughts resonate until they meet something that reflects the thoughts back to us and the mind coverts that something into consciousness, like some kind of radar?
Or do thoughts resonate until they meet something that is in the same key, or in tune with the thoughts and a 'node' (standing wave or resonance) is formed and the resonance then floats into consciousness?
Or do thoughts just interact with retained information in the mind until something resonates?
Could be all of the above, some thoughts to do this, some do that. LOL
Or when viewed from different perspectives?
Theory of Relativity was thought up by Einstein to resolve contradictions in physics.
Could do the same with metaphysics? A much more precise way of communication needs to be developed first. Extensive writing could be the ticket.
Summarized. There seems to be a process in the mind that reviews what is in the conscious, subconscious, stored information, and makes decisions about what to do and think.
Species that educate their offspring and themselves. Many do?
Species that use language and math? Many do.
Closest would be chimps and apes that are able to use sign language? Teach them to teach themselves and wait a million years? Or is there something else?
All these people with guns are taking away my freedom to protect myself without a gun. LOL
Take all the guns away from these people.
Sounds like freedom to own a gun is based on false assumptions?
Human beings have very limited freedom, even in nature? In a society, there is even less freedom?
People should have freedoms, yes, but they do not actually have them?
Freedom of speech - restricted by social norms. Freedom to have a job - restricted by education and other factors. Freedom to move - restricted by money, access to transportation, other people.
Some metaphysical concepts just seem right true, even at first thought.
Truth resonates.
Knowledge is retained information and true assumptions.
Useful or constructive knowledge is primarily based on truth and true assumptions.
False truths and assumptions close the path to further useful or constructive knowledge in that realm.
Metaphysically 'feels' correctright true.
Wonder if there is a universe where things feel left? Joke?
Negative people are not really negative but are non-constructive and in large part cognitively dissonant?
Dissonant people? People who might function in the physical universe but are mainly out of tune with the metaphysical universe where truth resonates?
Thought in the metaphysical universe is similar to light in the physical universe? Common sense?
One has to think to see or explore the metaphysical universe but conceptualizing concepts in darkness is built on truth resonating in some dimension or dimensions? hehe. So, most are blind in here. A vast unseen and virtually unexplored frontier, where money is no object yet useless?
Truth vs facts? Metaphysical vs physical?
Been living on borrowed time since the early 1970s, 2000s, etc. So, probably thought about and prepared for death too much. Although, too much is good in that it desensitizes, in this case.
Some thoughts seem to linger or resonate subconsciously until a 'node' is generated.
Probably quit if work required commuting to an office.
Working with negative people is hard because one is supposed to be polite and try to educate really negative people. It is much easier to be nice to such people by email. Sudden negative statements or actions appear to be more upsetting in direct person-to-person interaction.
After reading a negative statement from someone, one has time to adjust and attempt to remain serene.
In person, negative statements/actions can build up to where one is highly stressed.
Also, can save a couple hours by not commuting through traffic or crowds. Cars always appear to suddenly cut you off. People often brazenly cut in line. War zone. Certainly stressful and most likely influences how people act.
Compare that to leisurely watching TV and riding a spin bike, or just listening to music with tea and milk before work.
Productivity? Highly productive with clean copies.
Prefer online video meetings to physical meetings, also.
Scared to work with young people, these days. For some unknown reason, I must avoid setting a bad example. Could have a negative effect on their life, when one knows better. Say a few kind words, thank you, things to ease stress and encourage life.
Imagine if I had to work with a room full of young people? Ulcers? Depends on the young people, I guess. But there always seem to be some bad apples as a test of patience?
World would probably be better if less people commuted to work. Less stress, less pollution, less waste of energy and space. Less net expenditure of human effort.
Some people can do a lot of work from home, some can't.
Can feelings be classified into two groups - primarily physically-based feelings and primarily metaphysically-based ones?
Feelings such as hot, cold, hungry, love, hate, and anger seem to start from physiological processes (nerves, hormones), while feelings such as like or dislike of humor seem to be mainly based on metaphysical processes.
Hmm...
Diligent, hardworking and honest people need to beware. Others who aren't do not like such people.
Read somewhere that people resent those who are better.
Example? Kids with bad grades dun like ones with good grades, sometimes.
That kind of resentment could arise from survival instinct, so it might be due to physiological processes
On the surface, it seems only some resent others, but unconsciously, it could be another story...
Feelings could be due to chemicals and electric impulses around and in nerves. Why the chemicals and electric signals create thoughts and feelings is not known.
Okay, physiological process-based feelings and metaphysical feelings.
With metaphysical feelings, there is no foundation, so to speak. So, these feelings are based on nodes of knowledge? So, if cognitively dissonant, then no nodes, which is equal to feelings and thoughts not based on knowledge?
Knowledge is normally based on true facts or assumptions Common sense.
So, if one believes in untrue or false assumptions, further knowledge in that area is improbable? Gotcha!
Most people are somewhat cognitively dissonant, while some appear lost?
Plausible.
Feelings? Are feelings thoughts? Thinking that one feels something, or the external influence makes one think that way? For hot and cold...
Hormone-based thoughts and metaphysically-based thoughts? Instinctive thoughts and higher dimensional/complex thoughts?
Some common nodes of knowledge exist in everyone's minds. Do these nodes exist in an unseen dimension or are minds connected by some quantum entanglement-type phenomena? Maybe both?
Both. Could also be thought of as an unseen dimension of knowledge? Can easily get lost in here.
No wonder most people avoid thinking, these thoughts.
Writing reports on stock exchange filings and financial news is helpful when investing.
Writing seemed to be a chore in past jobs. After retiring, writing became a pastime, then a job again. But now it is easy and sometimes a joy. Maybe enjoyable due to pay? Probably true. Could be due to different perspectives?
When writing in jobs, shortcuts or compromises or taken due to lack of time. When writing as a pastime, there is more freedom to explore thoughts and knowledge.
Thoughts move, while knowledge grows and appears to lurk in darkness?
Information energy? Can be transmitted, weakened, strengthened, destroyed, created. True information seems to resonate to form nodes of knowledge (constructive thoughts/information)?
Gun manufacturers, dealers, some lawyers, some lobbyists, gun magazines, ammunition makers, some advertising companies, some politicians and some owners appear to dislike government and regulations. Less government and regulations will further the distance to restrictive gun laws.
Guns are their ticket to the rich life. Over a hundred million guns in the US and probably a similar amount exported (many to criminal organizations). Seems like money rules (in) all nations.
Do it the Korean way? Everyone who passes requirements is allowed own a gun, but the guns must be stored at the police station and checked out for use. LOL. A relic of dictator Park.
Attempts to change the law have been NON-EXISTENT. Why? Very few people make money from guns in Korea.
Although lots of Koreans own guns for hunting and sport, none are acquaintances.
Listed corporations are required by law to announce plans for significant investments, such as large acquisitions.
None of the listed corporations of the Korean conglomerates that pledged to invest vast amounts in the next years have filed such plans to date.
Wonder if they will file? Should be soon, if they really plan to spend money this year or even the first half of next year.
(CORRECTED - the pledges include past amounts that were pledged, I read. So, some of the investments have already been announced. It depends on the economy. If the economy is good, they will likely keep a majority of their pledges, if the economy is not so good, then no way).
Get paid to know these things. Is it a miracle? In many ways.
Think Korean conglomerates are cheering for a conservative win in the local elections next week because of comprehensive property taxes. The family owners, executives, corporations, acolytes, and relatives, own most of the real estate in Korea.
The conservatives want to lower or eliminate comprehensive property taxes, but the progressive/liberal party holds a majority in the parliament, so the law is unlikely to be changed.
Almost all media only publish blatantly pro-Yoon, pro-conservative party articles ALL the time and call the opposition criminals and such. Yet, the conservatives are losing in many districts, over 50%. Hope the recent historical trend is maintained. hehe.
The progressive party holds over 50% of the seats in the parliament. Faint light of hope!
Real insights into Korean society, not BS from conservative media.
Sounds worse than drug abuser and much worse than drug dependent, or the truest nickname drug liker?
Sounds like the term was deliberately meant to denigrate and alienate drug users?
Should terms that incite hatred against some people be banned? Ban people who use such terms? From the metaphysical universe, hehe.
Ever hear 'alcohol addict'? No, but addicted to alcohol, yes.
Guess 'addict' could be used without malice, such as 'football addict'.
There's so much money flowing in stocks. Dollar is now strong against the Korean Won and some stocks are undervalued, so foreign investors are buying again in some sectors. Foreign investors mostly sold in the past year or so, if memory is correct.
I am a 15% addict. Need 15% or more annual return on investment.
The other side of our universe with metaphysical properties, metaphysical dimensions, reverse entropy, metaphysical energy, metaphysical feelings, metaphysical black holes and more? Where truth resonates?
Mostly my metaphysical universe for now, until others see more of it. Could get crowded. Where to go?
Always wanted things in the past and get most of them? Try not to want anything special and see where it leads?
They have pledged to invest and create jobs at the start of every past conservative President's term and failed to do so.
Suspiciously happens just before local elections on June 1.
Whoa! Even conservative Korean publications are complaining that Korean conglomerates always pledge to invest at the start of a president's administration but fail to do so.
Did you know Samsung used to give expensive gifts and presents to prosecutors and judges, in some cases tried to give? Not to mention company executives being convicted for wanton destruction of evidence.
Betcha President Yoon grants Lee a pardon and erases his convictions. 50:50 odds.
In Samsung's defense, please note that it seems to be a South Korean conglomerate 'thing' based on past history. They haven't changed in the past, why expect change in the future?
Shouldn't be so negative? Be more objective?
Another metaphysical feeling. Can truth be felt in music? Think so, from my perspective.
When a theory or useful fact that is written or otherwise recorded is destroyed (water on ink, fire, etc.), where does that 'energy' and 'knowledge' go?
If things appear and disappear without a trace, that's magic, right? What about zero point energy?
Okay, maybe not magic.
When we die, our experiences and stuff, where do they go? It's different from fluctuating quantum lowest energy state. It's like a really high energy state.
The 'energy' might be converted or transformed into another original form for storage, possibly recycling? That thought could be influenced by Buddhism. Still is very intriguing.
Just had a thought.
Can make knowledge with resonances of thoughts, but not with cognitive dissonance?
That sounds vaguely similar to 'tune in, drop out', good vibes and the like?
Another one.
What if the phrase 'I don't think' was banned? Pretty sure it leads to people not thinking beyond survival and competition mode. Could be self-hypnosis, subliminal messaging or whatnot. hehe
Did you know some languages use 'I don't think' a lot more than other languages and it appears to be negatively manifested in that country's culture? Really. What languages? Have an entire nation hate me? No way.
Why is it that fundamental physical interactions can be described and predicted by mathematical formulas? There is a metaphysical structure, or metaphysical property to physical objects and interactions, maybe?
Knowledge is a type of metaphysical energy gained from observing physical interactions and learning through physical interactions? That needs to be divided down. Too complex.
Do they have other metaphysical properties as well?
Metaphysical entropy, metaphysical energy (knowledge, etc.), metaphysical black hole, metaphysical universe or world?
Can a metaphysical universe affect the physical universe in ways other than spoken or written words, music and other thought initiated physical actions? Resulting in life and order?
Maybe even affect space or gravity ever so slightly (dark matter or dark energy)?
Can a metaphysical dimension affect the physical universe? Similar question as before.
Constructive overcomes destructive -- matter versus anti-matter, order versus disorder, true thoughts versus false thoughts, positive thoughts versus negative thoughts, and so on.
Can make music with resonances of frequencies, but not with dissonance.
Can make knowledge with resonances of thoughts, but not with cognitive dissonance?
Can think positively/constructively with resonances of thoughts, but not with cognitive dissonance?
Images can be created in minds from resonances of frequencies?
If thoughts can interact with the physical world and be stored in books and stuff, they exist in some form of energy, or dimension, in our heads. So this energy is stored in books and digital form and/or transmitted to others. Biological energy used versus energy of knowledge created?
Seems energy is created for a while and stored physically and in people's minds.
All physical things created will be destroyed in the end, theories say. So, even if thoughts are stored in physical form...
So, when this thought energy is destroyed in physical form, does it disappear? Energy is not supposed to disappear but is conserved, theories state. Does it go back to another dimension or form? Is it a metaphysical black hole, perhaps?
At what point, or stage, does logical/constructive thinking overcome just living and sacred of dying thinking?
Is this due to a force, energy, dimension, or even maybe natural law? For thought/knowledge, it needs to be a metaphysical dimension or a natural law for a metaphysical dimension?
If knowledge is equal to or a part of a Good dimension or a God, then physically recorded and voiced words are physical manifestations of that dimension or are avatars? Logos.
A dimension of information in place of a God, maybe? Or is it information energy? Could be both, probably all.
Information is related to knowledge and is 'ordered' data. Positive things might resonate and create synergies in such a dimension?
Decades of avoiding cognitive dissonance by sincerely trying to be good (true, clean, humble) leads to knowledge and feeling content? Sounds faintly similar to what religions promise, like Buddhism.
Why are only some driven to learn, exercise, develop? Because they try? Others try and give up. Some dun even try.
Been saying the same things for decades now. Here's a new thought.
Some people say primitive cultures created religion to explain the world.
There could have been a civilized race with great knowledge in ancient times and religion was the way for primitive races to explain why that civilized race was so advanced. And as that story was passed down orally through the ages... (could write a movie script with that).
Life is like reverse entropy, Molecules flow towards order and higher energy (albeit, due to consumption of energy).
In humans, life plus experience equals knowledge, sometimes. Maybe, that is true for all life.
Much knowledge used to be forgotten and lost. Die and most of that thing's knowledge is gone. Some is passed on through education, some through genes, amazingly.
At least, much more of what people know and experience is recorded and digitally stored for who knows how long. AI working on all that data right now.
Learning Python (can be used for some machine learning and deep learning) and other courses. Encouraged to learn by company, so mindlessly learning for free.
Humans like to write and think? A few do? For the majority, it depends?
Majority of humans don't seem to care?
Has been like that through the ages, but a few keep trying to make things better and somehow things work out. Why?
Is it something like reverse entropy due to some energy?
Seems similar to a software routine that scrolls through past, current and predicted information about the body and environment to decide what to do next? Could be.
Programmed to survive but something different in humans arose. Other animals still just pass time when stomachs are full and so did humans.
Plus what? Why conscience? For the good of the group or family? Could be but...
Store and use knowledge? That's what humans do.
Could be that knowledge is or a part of something like a God (good energy, force, dimension, entity, classification)?
What is knowledge? A metaphysical dimension or metaphysical force that indirectly affects physical dimensions seems like an accurate description.
Knowledge, conscience and some force linger, maybe resonate, in my thoughts.
Is conscience a part of knowledge? Yes, in a way. One knows that there are people starving and one did nothing to help them. But why feel bad? It's bad for the group or family instinct?
But why do only some feel bad? The ones who don't feel bad unconsciously avoid thinking about it, a type of cognitive dissonance? Cognitive dissonance is the disruption of logical thought due to actions or thoughts inconsistent with truth and logic? Could be.
Knowledge and some force are in my thoughts. That seems correct. Finally, a little progress.
Giving monthly to UNHCR and others helps me feel less guilty about my good middle class fortunes. Recommended for the empathetic. Certainly liberates the mind.
Glad I am not rich, in a few ways. Might feel too guilty for some reason. Have to think about how to put the money to good use. Might be tempted to go a different path. Worry about losing money. Too much free time if I didn't work.
Despite many negative things about the US, many Americans do care about what is good for the world.
Americans probably donate the most money to charity and have countless philanthropists like Carnegie, Rockefeller, Gates and Buffet to name a few.
Then again, only the wealthy can afford to be generous (the poor cannot afford to but donate anyway). So wealth can be good and should be encouraged but not hoarded?
Without the US and under present circumstances, the future world would be likely be run by some Machiavellian dude.
Another peeve, what happened to fair play? God? Are you listening? Can a dimension or force hear? I doubt it. Doesn't have ears, so technically.
Seems like everyone is bending rules, using loopholes, breaking laws. Some even brag about it and become successful conservative politicians.
Close to a million have died of COVID-19 in the US, the news said.
That's more deaths than from the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Wikipedia).
Yet, there seems to be less importance placed on deaths caused by the coronavirus. Could be attributed to desensitization from over two years of news coverage and fear of accidental nuclear war.
One million lives needlessly lost because of opposition to wearing masks and vaccinations.
With math, it is possible to represent physical interactions and states with formulas.
With words, it is possible to transmit and store knowledge in sentences.
Need to think about this some more. Seems to be going somewhere?
Internet enables free access to information and knowledge.
Software programs, written with logic and words which are translated to assembly language and then to binary code before being sent into the chip via electric pulses, power artificial intelligence.
Store, access, utilize, understand or learn knowledge?
Create, uncover, or learn knowledge? All? Yes, that seems right.
For new situations, knowledge is created. For some common situations, it's general knowledge, so it is learned or uncovered.
Knowledge? Recognizing something, physical or metaphysical, enough to be able to perceive and react to any changes? Could be.
Seems we could be biological machines running on AI software programmed to survive but feel bad about killing? Could be.
So, why are governments encouraging and paying people to have more babies (South Korea, Japan, and others)? Economy (money) and Power (versus other countries; needed if one has neighbors like Russia and China).
Insane.
Maybe, I'm the insane one? Everyone is insane to a degree. We are all in some ways illogical, in some ways very logical.
The answers to many questions are not two-dimensional, most answers are at least four dimensional and are usually 'all', 'everyone', 'everything'.
And 'you' and 'me' are not the heart of the universe, though it seems so. There seems to be something else.
If humans survive and thrive with a smaller population, humans might say that they were behind it, human nature, it seems.
Are humans that smart? Some are smart in certain things, but...
Good jobs are hard to come by in Korea and Japan, believe it or not. Most employees are contractors or contracted employees, a popular global trend.
That's the main reason for not having children, I think. You dream of a better life for your kids, not hardship.
So, the rich have kids, the poor give up. Then, if the rich have too many kids, same problem again. If they have few kids, then a small but rich population. Just thinking things through, like many others before me.
Conservative think tanks and scholars have undoubtedly thought this through, you know?
Survival of the fittest is an evolutionary explanation of development of organisms.
Among early humans, probably the physically strongest led. Up until recent times, royalty ruled over their kingdoms.
Although they credit the Greeks with democracy, they had slavery.
I tend not to believe history now. History taught in Russia, China, Japan, North Korea and other countries try to glorify their heritage and deny negative aspects.
Koreans invented the printing press before Gutenberg. The evidence is is our museums. But who knows, some other people could have invented it before Koreans.
Back to ethics and knowledge. It seems that with the rise of human rights, democracy, free speech, and such, technology also advanced accordingly.
Education used to be only for royalty and higher class. Free education as a right is a recent thing.
A belief or faith that "good" (or something like a good energy, entity, or dimension) will lead to a better world seems to have created the conditions for humans to develop technology rapidly?
It's hard for me to believe humans are inherently intelligent and solely responsible for all the technological and social advances. Humans were not so smart for around a million years (first human ancestors appeared two million years ago). Why now?
Took a long time to abandon animal instincts and snap out of that survival of the fittest loop.
A Good dimension where Good resonates and is amplified?
A few decades ago, I knew some policemen. Part of their jobs were to patrol major hotels and other places incognito.
Probably, the intelligence services did similar things.
Scary world?
Another thought. If you were an intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious worker, would you like to work remotely or at the office?
Some people can work independently, others cannot. Would it be better to have have intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious employees work remotely, rather than being annoyed by others who aren't?
Autonomous driving and drivers? Automation and workers? Artificial intelligence and translators, analysts, writers, teachers, etc.?
Maybe preparations are in order?
AI is being used now at large corporations to automate work processes (financial, logistics, transactions, payroll, etc.) for analytics, checking for duplication and abnormalities, and other stuff.
Business software with features utilizing AI have just started to come out in the past couple of years. The developers are getting more data and upgrading features. Should be the same in other sectors.
The sales pitch is that it frees up staff to do more productive work, but the bottom line is reduction of labor costs. You need less staff to do more work.
If inflation rose 50%, I would lose a lot of money, but many more would lose tens of billions.
That's why inflation is so important to the establishment. Inflation at 10% a year for a lifetime plus socialist policies should wipe out most fortunes, unless the money was invested productively.
But if inflation rises, then food becomes too expensive for the poor? BS. If most people can't buy it, then according to capitalism, the price should fall (demand, supply, price). Did people starve in Argentina when inflation was like 1000%? Probably, but not so many as to make it newsworthy.
Both nightmares are coming soon! Hoping for anything to solve poverty which should not exist if people really were religious, or 'good at heart'.
Are there taxes on wealth? Just income, property, VAT, import, export, but no wealth tax. Wonder why?
People have a lot of wealth in art, collectibles, jewelry, stocks, and such which are not taxed if they do not sell or inherit it (supposedly). It is wealth that could be better put to use for other urgently needed social purposes.
Some may argue what about artists, artisans, and companies that issue stock? Will they be affected somewhat, excesses sort of reigned in?
Should wealth be taxed in order to have it flow towards other avenues, hopefully socially oriented ones?
If nothing is done, the trend towards assets that aren't taxed will only grow and problems will worsen. There needs to be policies to reverse this trend, but traditional media and establishment may never push for such actions.
Many rich Korean acquaintances buy stuff (art, collectibles, jewelry, gold, currency) and give it to their offspring without declaring it and other trickery. Certainly goes on elsewhere.
Kinda seems like sleight of hand on humans. Everyone focusing on getting richer, while something is happening that we should be aware of.
Another thought. People acquire excessive wealth to be different from, maybe even above, regular people? Wealthy people tend to brag and show off? Will they stand in line with or sit next to a regular person?
Should poor or even middle class people, cast their votes for the wealthy and their sycophants? Wonder if over 50% of the population will eventually vote to take from the rich and give to the poor?
According to Medical News Today, telomeres are “protective caps” located on the ends of our chromosomes that affect how quickly cells age and increased selenium intake is related to longer telomere length.
Selenium is also needed for other bodily functions.
Often forget to eat my daily Brazil nut. Probably remember better now. Seems to be over a decade since I started to eat Brazil nuts.
Exercise and eating small amounts of unprocessed food are also reportedly associated with living longer.
FYI, more interested in being well than living longer.
More is being revealed about various regions of the brain these days than ever before.
According an article in a publication of American Association for the Advancement of Science, the amygdala is a small structure deep in the brain important for interpreting the social and emotional meaning of sensory input – from recognizing emotion in faces to interpreting fearful images that inform us about potential dangers in our surroundings.
It seems that an overgrowth in the amygdala of babies could be the cause for autism in later life.
China and Russia has and will keep supporting and trading with North Korea.
So?
China, Russia, North Korea, and other authoritarian states vs democratic countries?
Looks that way.
Already cut them off from semiconductors, advanced software, and other technologies.
People in power need to have yearly mental checkups and removed from power if they are not logical, do not keep their word, or lie blatantly
Why do people vote for liars (Trump)? Many seem to be disenfranchised, feed up with the system, and are expressing it by voting for people who appear to be rebellious.
