Independent thinking can be right in many cases, especially since there are billions of people thinking. Consensus thinking is very unlikely to be right most of the time and likely to be much slower.
If some one, by genetic fluke or something, got to live 500 years, what are the odds that people would let that one live that long?

In a magazine, there is talk of formal research on psychoactive drugs. I hope they know about sticking with natural first. I believe I am seeing hints that non-linear thinking is catching on.
