Did you know only Koreans with government permission could go abroad before the early 1980s? Foreign publications had sections blacked out with ink in order to censor them. Imports were almost impossible. Unless you were big money or had connections. Power and money ruled. Still do. But abroad there seems to be a lot of good power and good money.
