Metaphysical Entropy

Life versus inanimate objects?

Life is like reverse entropy, Molecules flow towards order and higher energy (albeit, due to consumption of energy).

In humans, life plus experience equals knowledge, sometimes. Maybe, that is true for all life.

Much knowledge used to be forgotten and lost. Die and most of that thing's knowledge is gone. Some is passed on through education, some through genes, amazingly.

At least, much more of what people know and experience is recorded and digitally stored for who knows how long. AI working on all that data right now.

Learning Python (can be used for some machine learning and deep learning) and other courses. Encouraged to learn by company, so mindlessly learning for free.

Humans like to write and think? A few do? For the majority, it depends?

Majority of humans don't seem to care?

Has been like that through the ages, but a few keep trying to make things better and somehow things work out. Why?

Is it something like reverse entropy due to some energy?

Consciousness?

Seems similar to a software routine that scrolls through past, current and predicted information about the body and environment to decide what to do next? Could be.

Programmed to survive but something different in humans arose. Other animals still just pass time when stomachs are full and so did humans.

Then farming, complex language, concepts (philosophy, metaphysics), math, science, technology, ... ?

Plus what? Why conscience? For the good of the group or family? Could be but...

Store and use knowledge? That's what humans do.

Could be that knowledge is or a part of something like a God (good energy, force, dimension, entity, classification)?

What is knowledge? A metaphysical dimension or metaphysical force that indirectly affects physical dimensions seems like an accurate description.

Knowledge, conscience and some force linger, maybe resonate, in my thoughts.

Is conscience a part of knowledge? Yes, in a way. One knows that there are people starving and one did nothing to help them. But why feel bad? It's bad for the group or family instinct?

But why do only some feel bad? The ones who don't feel bad unconsciously avoid thinking about it, a type of cognitive dissonance? Cognitive dissonance is the disruption of logical thought due to actions or thoughts inconsistent with truth and logic? Could be.

Knowledge and some force are in my thoughts. That seems correct. Finally, a little progress.

Giving monthly to UNHCR and others helps me feel less guilty about my good middle class fortunes. Recommended for the empathetic. Certainly liberates the mind.

Glad I am not rich, in a few ways. Might feel too guilty for some reason. Have to think about how to put the money to good use. Might be tempted to go a different path. Worry about losing money. Too much free time if I didn't work.

Despite many negative things about the US, many Americans do care about what is good for the world.

Americans probably donate the most money to charity and have countless philanthropists like Carnegie, Rockefeller, Gates and Buffet to name a few.

Then again, only the wealthy can afford to be generous (the poor cannot afford to but donate anyway). So wealth can be good and should be encouraged but not hoarded?

Without the US and under present circumstances, the future world would be likely be run by some Machiavellian dude.

Another peeve, what happened to fair play? God? Are you listening? Can a dimension or force hear? I doubt it. Doesn't have ears, so technically.

Seems like everyone is bending rules, using loopholes, breaking laws. Some even brag about it and become successful conservative politicians.

Atomic Bombs Caused Under Estimated 300,000 Deaths

Close to a million have died of COVID-19 in the US, the news said.

That's more deaths than from the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Wikipedia).

Yet, there seems to be less importance placed on deaths caused by the coronavirus. Could be attributed to desensitization from over two years of news coverage and fear of accidental nuclear war.

One million lives needlessly lost because of opposition to wearing masks and vaccinations.

Language And Mathematics

With math, it is possible to represent physical interactions and states with formulas.

With words, it is possible to transmit and store knowledge in sentences.

Need to think about this some more. Seems to be going somewhere?

Internet enables free access to information and knowledge.

Software programs, written with logic and words which are translated to assembly language and then to binary code before being sent into the chip via electric pulses, power artificial intelligence.

Store, access, utilize, understand or learn knowledge?

Create, uncover, or learn knowledge? All? Yes, that seems right.

For new situations, knowledge is created. For some common situations, it's general knowledge, so it is learned or uncovered.

Knowledge? Recognizing something, physical or metaphysical, enough to be able to perceive and react to any changes? Could be.

Seems we could be biological machines running on AI software programmed to survive but feel bad about killing? Could be.

Earth Is Overpopulated, Overpolluted, And More

So, why are governments encouraging and paying people to have more babies (South Korea, Japan, and others)? Economy (money) and Power (versus other countries; needed if one has neighbors like Russia and China).

Insane.

Maybe, I'm the insane one? Everyone is insane to a degree. We are all in some ways illogical, in some ways very logical.

The answers to many questions are not two-dimensional, most answers are at least four dimensional and are usually 'all', 'everyone', 'everything'.

And 'you' and 'me' are not the heart of the universe, though it seems so. There seems to be something else.

If humans survive and thrive with a smaller population, humans might say that they were behind it, human nature, it seems.

Are humans that smart? Some are smart in certain things, but...

Good jobs are hard to come by in Korea and Japan, believe it or not. Most employees are contractors or contracted employees, a popular global trend.

That's the main reason for not having children, I think. You dream of a better life for your kids, not hardship.

So, the rich have kids, the poor give up. Then, if the rich have too many kids, same problem again. If they have few kids, then a small but rich population. Just thinking things through, like many others before me.

Conservative think tanks and scholars have undoubtedly thought this through, you know?

Why Did Human Knowledge Increase Exponentially Just Recently?

Ethics and knowledge?

Survival of the fittest is an evolutionary explanation of development of organisms.

Among early humans, probably the physically strongest led. Up until recent times, royalty ruled over their kingdoms.

Although they credit the Greeks with democracy, they had slavery.

I tend not to believe history now. History taught in Russia, China, Japan, North Korea and other countries try to glorify their heritage and deny negative aspects.

Koreans invented the printing press before Gutenberg. The evidence is is our museums. But who knows, some other people could have invented it before Koreans.

Back to ethics and knowledge. It seems that with the rise of human rights, democracy, free speech, and such, technology also advanced accordingly.

Education used to be only for royalty and higher class. Free education as a right is a recent thing.

A belief or faith that "good" (or something like a good energy, entity, or dimension) will lead to a better world seems to have created the conditions for humans to develop technology rapidly?

It's hard for me to believe humans are inherently intelligent and solely responsible for all the technological and social advances. Humans were not so smart for around a million years (first human ancestors appeared two million years ago). Why now?

Took a long time to abandon animal instincts and snap out of that survival of the fittest loop.

A Good dimension where Good resonates and is amplified?

Plainclothes Cops in Hotels?

A few decades ago, I knew some policemen. Part of their jobs were to patrol major hotels and other places incognito.

Probably, the intelligence services did similar things.

Scary world?

Another thought. If you were an intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious worker, would you like to work remotely or at the office?

Some people can work independently, others cannot. Would it be better to have have intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious employees work remotely, rather than being annoyed by others who aren't?

Autonomous driving and drivers? Automation and workers? Artificial intelligence and translators, analysts, writers, teachers, etc.?

Maybe preparations are in order?

AI is being used now at large corporations to automate work processes (financial, logistics, transactions, payroll, etc.) for analytics, checking for duplication and abnormalities, and other stuff.

Business software with features utilizing AI have just started to come out in the past couple of years. The developers are getting more data and upgrading features. Should be the same in other sectors.

The sales pitch is that it frees up staff to do more productive work, but the bottom line is reduction of labor costs. You need less staff to do more work.
