Why Did Human Knowledge Increase Exponentially Just Recently?

Ethics and knowledge?

Survival of the fittest is an evolutionary explanation of development of organisms.

Among early humans, probably the physically strongest led. Up until recent times, royalty ruled over their kingdoms.

Although they credit the Greeks with democracy, they had slavery.

I tend not to believe history now. History taught in Russia, China, Japan, North Korea and other countries try to glorify their heritage and deny negative aspects.

Koreans invented the printing press before Gutenberg. The evidence is is our museums. But who knows, some other people could have invented it before Koreans.

Back to ethics and knowledge. It seems that with the rise of human rights, democracy, free speech, and such, technology also advanced accordingly.

Education used to be only for royalty and higher class. Free education as a right is a recent thing.

A belief or faith that "good" (or something like a good energy, entity, or dimension) will lead to a better world seems to have created the conditions for humans to develop technology rapidly?

It's hard for me to believe humans are inherently intelligent and solely responsible for all the technological and social advances. Humans were not so smart for around a million years (first human ancestors appeared two million years ago). Why now?

Took a long time to abandon animal instincts and snap out of that survival of the fittest loop.

A Good dimension where Good resonates and is amplified?

Plainclothes Cops in Hotels?

A few decades ago, I knew some policemen. Part of their jobs were to patrol major hotels and other places incognito.

Probably, the intelligence services did similar things.

Scary world?

Another thought. If you were an intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious worker, would you like to work remotely or at the office?

Some people can work independently, others cannot. Would it be better to have have intelligent, happy and extremely conscientious employees work remotely, rather than being annoyed by others who aren't?

Autonomous driving and drivers? Automation and workers? Artificial intelligence and translators, analysts, writers, teachers, etc.?

Maybe preparations are in order?

AI is being used now at large corporations to automate work processes (financial, logistics, transactions, payroll, etc.) for analytics, checking for duplication and abnormalities, and other stuff.

Business software with features utilizing AI have just started to come out in the past couple of years. The developers are getting more data and upgrading features. Should be the same in other sectors.

The sales pitch is that it frees up staff to do more productive work, but the bottom line is reduction of labor costs. You need less staff to do more work.

Nightmares Of The Wealthy?

Socialism and inflation?

If inflation rose 50%, I would lose a lot of money, but many more would lose tens of billions.

That's why inflation is so important to the establishment. Inflation at 10% a year for a lifetime plus socialist policies should wipe out most fortunes, unless the money was invested productively.

But if inflation rises, then food becomes too expensive for the poor? BS. If most people can't buy it, then according to capitalism, the price should fall (demand, supply, price). Did people starve in Argentina when inflation was like 1000%? Probably, but not so many as to make it newsworthy.

Both nightmares are coming soon! Hoping for anything to solve poverty which should not exist if people really were religious, or 'good at heart'.

Are there taxes on wealth? Just income, property, VAT, import, export, but no wealth tax. Wonder why?

People have a lot of wealth in art, collectibles, jewelry, stocks, and such which are not taxed if they do not sell or inherit it (supposedly). It is wealth that could be better put to use for other urgently needed social purposes.

Some may argue what about artists, artisans, and companies that issue stock? Will they be affected somewhat, excesses sort of reigned in?

Should wealth be taxed in order to have it flow towards other avenues, hopefully socially oriented ones?

If nothing is done, the trend towards assets that aren't taxed will only grow and problems will worsen. There needs to be policies to reverse this trend, but traditional media and establishment may never push for such actions.

Many rich Korean acquaintances buy stuff (art, collectibles, jewelry, gold, currency) and give it to their offspring without declaring it and other trickery. Certainly goes on elsewhere.

Kinda seems like sleight of hand on humans. Everyone focusing on getting richer, while something is happening that we should be aware of.

Another thought. People acquire excessive wealth to be different from, maybe even above, regular people? Wealthy people tend to brag and show off? Will they stand in line with or sit next to a regular person?

Should poor or even middle class people, cast their votes for the wealthy and their sycophants? Wonder if over 50% of the population will eventually vote to take from the rich and give to the poor?

Musk, Freedom of Speech?

 BS

Does he do business with countries that suppress freedom of speech? Are employees allowed to speak freely at his companies?

Has Musk ever spoken out for free speech in North Korea, China, Russia, or anywhere, but the US and Twitter?

Pure capitalist. Doesn't even take a cash salary because of income tax.

The extremely wealthy control media, why not Twitter? I sometimes wonder how many companies the CIA, and South Korea's counterpart, controls.

Just Chill?

Why can't people just chill? Always wanting and doing. Some always badmouthing someone or something.

Seemingly can't sit still and reflect on the past, inner thoughts, what is going on, their self, life's questions... In other words, face oneself.

Is it due to genes, instinct, evolution, or what?

Or is that people know that there something like a God in the silence and are afraid to look?

Probably due to cognitive dissonance and wanting to avoid conflicting thoughts.

hehe.

Love?

A human cultural definition of the effects of hormones related to mating and parenting?

As with everything else, it is a mixture of many things. It is the human cultural definition, description, concept, the ideal, and more.

A mixture of emotions.

Selenium Associated with Longer Telomeres (Longer Living)

According to Medical News Today, telomeres are “protective caps” located on the ends of our chromosomes that affect how quickly cells age and increased selenium intake is related to longer telomere length.

Selenium is also needed for other bodily functions.

Often forget to eat my daily Brazil nut. Probably remember better now. Seems to be over a decade since I started to eat Brazil nuts.

Exercise and eating small amounts of unprocessed food are also reportedly associated with living longer.

FYI, more interested in being well than living longer.
